Wow. The amount of detail you were able to put into something as simple as pixel art is absolutely incredible. I am blown away by your finished product. It looks great, the shadows and highlights are clean. Overal: great job!
Even though it isn't in a sprite/pixel style, this is excellent nonetheless! Though, I'd change the black on the blade to a dark gray, to help it feel more "attached" to the rest of the weapon. Keep up the great work!
This is really cool! I like how it came out and looks like it took a lot of time. Even though its not really pixel art, it still is amazing that you created this prop.
I know that you were going for a mechanical feel and i think this is pretty great. To me it doesn't so much come off as a mechanical scythe, but more of an electrical themed scythe. either way it looks badass. good work
to upgrade this prop, think about adding more details to the shaft. it looks flat, figure out its shadows and highlights. the metal blade part could use some thin, sharp highlights to feel more sharp and dangerous.

ReplyDeleteLooks great, as i had figured. Try to see about switching the two color tones in the blade, to make the top part brighter. Amazing job though.
