Wk02 Rock, Paper, Scissors Concept Phase

When making the templates, I think about the amount negative space around the information and images, and how the the eyes will read the information. The composition also wouldn't be as cluttered and the images wouldn't be in the way of the text. The images that I plan to use on this page, would depict some kind of scene that serves as an introduction or hint to what the game is about.
I've decided to use these pictures as a reference because I'm going to  make my images of the cartoon nature.

  1. I like the pictures you collected, they make things more interesting. Especially the top center and very bottom ones, they really spice it up and throw in a little bit of humor into it as well.

  2. You really seem to be wanting have fun with this. Having a focus on cartoony elements and straying from having a cluttered environment help to create a kid-friendly poster that also depicts the competitive nature of the game.

  3. I agree with you having the huge image in the center will really grab viewers attention. But overall I really like the artwork that you collected, it brings a good feeling to the game of rock paper scissors as well as a little bit of humor. Will look really good in the end.

  4. I would agree with you saying that the 4th and 5th one are the best templates. Something about the 4th one looks just a little more neat than the 5th one.

  5. Keep the cartoons, it's really unique and with a game as easy and simple as rock, papers, scissors the majority of the people playing/looking at instructions would be children.

Also Attack on titan is an amazing show.

  6. You should definitely use the bottom image. It is so simple yet so complex at the same time. I love how each character is looking at the one the defeat but have a blind eye to their attacker.

  7. The art in the bottom image would work brilliantly. just try to make the full theme of the final design follow that art style.

  8. Using cartoons is a great design choice. I think thumbnail number 4 looks the best, because you can use the space up top to place the images, with the rules and text down below.
